Turvenäytteiden kuivaamisen ja jauhamisen vaikutuksesta analyysituloksiin
Abstract
The aim of this study was to examine to what extent the drying and grinding as preparatory treatment of peat samples effects the results of analysis. According to the tables 1, 2 and 3 the most notable changes take place in the amounts of ½N acetic acid soluble phosphorus and ammonium nitrogen. The amount of phosphorus soluble in ½N acetic acid seens generally to decrease as an effect of drying and grinding. A considerable increase in the amount of ammonium nitrogen is noted as an effect of drying and grinding. Taking into account the difficulties and the great standard deviation which occur when analysing fresh peat samples there does not seem to be cause for abandoning the preparatory treatment of the samples.Downloads
