Networking culture
an utopia or an omen of doom
Abstract
The concept of networking society can be allocated several different content emphasis forms. When this is done, one speaks of an interactive society, a post-industrial society, an information society, a service society, a communication society, or a citizens’ society. Similarly, networking work has many appellations depending on the user’s perspective and the context: teleworking, work not tied to a set location, flexiwork, data work. The article presents an ideological view of the networking culture. It examines networking culture as an utopia and at the same time assesses its impacts on the working life and education.
