Abstract

This paper presents the morphological characteristics of the previously undescribed fifth larval stage of Notonecta reuteri Hungerford, 1928 and N. lutea Müller, 1776. This paper highlights the differences between the two species, and the difference with N. glauca Linnaeus, 1758, the most widespread back-swimmer species in Poland.
