While stakeholder responsibility and circular economy are seen vital for promoting sustainable development, empirical research investigating linkages between them is scarce. This study examines how the CEOs of large and medium-sized Finnish industrial companies perceive stakeholder responsibility and circular economy, and the connection of them to the promotion of sustainable development goals. The empirical data is collected through an online survey and descriptive methods are used to analyse the data. The results of the study show that Finnish managers have strong perceptions of stakeholder responsibility. Moreover, companies where CEOs have strong stakeholder responsibility perceptions and a broad understanding of circular economy, have most strongly integrated the sustainable development goals to their operations. The economic sustainability goals are best integrated in business actions, whereas globallevel sustainability goals, such as famine and poverty, are integrated into business operations to a lesser extent.
