Information For Authors

JFEA welcomes submission of unpublished manuscripts in all fields of economics and closely related disciplines, with a special emphasis on policy-relevant applications. Owned and financed by the Finnish Economic Association, authors are not required to pay any submision fees or article processing charges.

JFEA publishes empirical and applied theoretical research articles and surveys, as well as special issues on policy-relevant topics. Empirical studies concerning economies and institutions of Finland, Nordic and Baltic countries are particularly encouraged. JFEA particularly invites contributions from early-career researchers: replications and articles with so-called null findings are also most welcome.

The objective of JFEA is committed to a high-quality and efficient review process facilitate timely communication of topical research results to the research community and policymakers. JFEA follows a single-blind review procedure. Our first round response time is typically less than two months.
