  • Call for Papers: Special Issue on Macromarketing

    Kulutustutkimus.Nyt invites scholars to contribute to our upcoming special issue, which aims to dissect and discuss the multifaceted concept of the ‘common good’ within our increasingly complex and divided contemporary society. Kulutustutkimus.Nyt is a peer-reviewed scientific journal published by the Finnish Association of Consumer Research.

    Theme: What are the possibilities of ‘common good’ in contemporary society marked with increasing contradictions and growing inequality?

    Background: As the world struggles with deepening social, economic, and political divides, the pursuit of the common good has emerged as a critical area of inquiry. This special issue seeks to explore the various interpretations, challenges, and pathways to achieving the common good in the face of stark societal contradictions and escalating disparities.

    Submission Guidelines:

    • Full and Short Paper Submission Deadline: 31.9.2024
    • First round decision: 31.12.2024
    • Second round decision: 30.3.2025
    • Manuscript Length Full paper: about 8,000 words
    • Manuscript Length Short paper: about 4,000 words
    • Formatting Style: APA 7th Edition (check more specific writing instructions here)

    Review Process: Each submission will undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process.

    Publication Date: The special issue is scheduled for publication in Volume 19 Number 1­-2 2025.
