The hotel room serves as an essential element of accommodation, offering guests a private space designed for sleeping, relaxation and diverse traveller needs. This paper explores the hotel room through four diverse roles - a sales instrument, a functional space, a component of the overnight stay, and an experience platform. Examining these roles bridges the gap between managerial objectives and guest expectations, offering insights to enhance guest experiences and support hotel operations and performances.
