Abstract

The article describes two Stone Age and Early Metal Period settlement sites in Kittilä, Lappland. The sites were preliminary excavated by the author in 1994 and the results shed some new light on the prehistory of the middle run of the River Ounasjoki. Special attention is paid to the amber and ceramic finds from the sites.
