Abstract

Virtualhospital 2.0 project, coordinated by the Hospital District of Helsinki and Uusimaa (HUS), is the development of specialized care services and the change of production by digital service channels. Healthvillage is a part of the Virtualhospital 2.0 - project service production. Open public website for all citizens, treatment paths for patients, and services for professional are the Healthvillage service levels. eHealth service design and production is based on service architecture. The aim is to plan the Healthvillage services in a custom-oriented way and to develop the patient-professional communication and co-operation. The ecosystem of health and social care formed by the various producers of digital services must act as service mirror for citizen, so he or she will get smooth and seamless way support and help, and care in the flow of services. Thanks to the development of digital services, the needs and benefits of the new services for citizens, patients, professionals and organizations will renew the service culture and increase efficiency of service production. The purpose of this article is to take a look what kind of service Healthvillage is.
