VII Finnish-Hungarian Ethnological Symposium
Abstract
There has been a tradition of ethnologists from Hungary and Finland gathering to ethnological symposiums every third year. The topics of the VI Finnish-Hungarian Symposium in Pécsvárad, Hungary, summer l997, were the concept of "people" and the human appearance and its research. ln addition to ethnological objects of research, the way a discipline treats the phenomena it studies was taken into focus.
