Abstrakti

We all keep on hearing that museums are the memory and conscience of the society and that museums, archives and libraries are the public establishments which replaced the collective traditions of the pre-industrial communities. Many of us have felt the warm and light atmosphere brought to the middle of the darkness by the living fire in a fireplace or campfire, and the power of its overwhelming unity that captures everyone sitting around it. ln that kind of state of bordered warmness and lightness stories were told in the past and by this way the important tradition which strengthened the community was transferred from generation to generation.
