Abstract

In general, homelessness has fallen clearly in Finland over the last few decades. Of the homeless, about one in five are under 25 years old. Housing advice service aims to support homeless young people. Housing advice service refers to work that aims to protect housing by preventing and solving housing problems, as well as guidance on housing issues. Special housing advice service aims to support especially those young people who are experiencing major difficulties in housing. Turku Youth Housing Association launched ANNU housing advisory and has systematically studied the effects of its activities. As one new form of work, they used the 3X10D Survey applied to housing issues. The meter was found to be functional when meeting young people. The meter described the needs of single young people as well as customers' needs more broadly.
