The author describes the life, work and tragic death of the scientist, educator, pediatrician and Polish author Janusz Korczak, based on the biography by Betty Jean Lifton. Janusz Korczak, or Henryk Goldszmit, worked at an orphanage in Warsaw and refused to leave the children who were sent from the orphanage to a concentration camp.Downloads
