Abstrakti
Accounting is the language of business. lt is
argued here that the proper use of this language is a challenging task, partly because the
basic accounting concepts appear to be very
different by their ontological nature. lt seems
that some concepts refer to concrete things
(e.g. amount of money) and these concepts are
thus quite easily approachable by all users of
accounting language. On the other hand there
seems to be accounting concepts which cannot
be properly used without understanding how
these concepts relate to the power structure in
organization. lt may even be that to ability to use
these concepts reguires certain position in an
organization.
