Abstract

During the last few decades, the dialogue between Christianity and natural science has become one of the most debated topics in the Western philosophy of religion. In Orthodox theology, however, this kind of discussion has been practically non-existent. In this article, I aim to provide reasons for this. I introduce the basic models of relating Christianity and natural science formulated in the West and speculate how the Orthodox tradition could potentially contribute to the discussion.
