Ekologisista kriiseistä globaalisti oikeudenmukaiseen kestävyyssiirtymään?
Feministisiä ja postkolonialistisia näkökulmia

Sukupuoli ja sosiaalinen uusintaminen sekä globaalin talouteen kytkeytyvät koloniaalit valtasuhteet ovat olleet keskeisiä katvealueita niin kansainvälisessä kuin suomalaisessakin poliittisen talouden tutkimuksessa. Myös ekologisia kriisejä ja kestävyyssiirtymää koskevassa poliittisen talouden tutkimuksessa globaali sukupuolittunut eriarvoisuus on jäänyt suhteellisen vähälle huomiolle. Toisinaan myös ekologisten kriisien feministiset ja postkolonialistiset analyysit ovat jääneet etäälle toisistaan. Siksi tämä katsaus pohtii ekologisiin kriiseihin ja kestävyyssiirtymään liittyviä poliittisen talouden kysymyksiä korostamalla teoreettista synergiaa feministisen ja postkolonialistisen analyysin välillä. Ensin katsaus arvioi, miten feministinen ja postkolonialistinen tarkastelu lisää ymmärrystä ilmastokriisiin liittyvistä globaaleista rakenteellisista eriarvoisuuksista. Toiseksi katsaus luotaa, miten myös kestävyyssiirtymään tähtäävät toimet kietoutuvat globaalissa taloudessa koloniaaliin ja sukupuolittuneeseen alistukseen. Lopuksi katsaus perustelee, miksi feministinen ja postkolonialistinen tarkastelu ovat edellytyksiä globaalisti solidaarisemman kestävyyssiirtymän kuvittelulle, ja näin peräänkuuluttaa tarvetta talouteen kytkeytyvien kriisien moninäkökulmaiselle tarkastelulle.
