Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- The text adheres to the Contributor Guidelines (see below).
- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it currently being considered for publication by another journal (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
- Select the section for your manuscript from the following: 1) Peer-reviewed articles 2) Reports and discussion articles (non-peer reviewed reports and discussion articles) 3) Professor’s inaugural lectures 4) Lectio praecursoria presentations 5) Conference reports 6) Reviews 7) Translations (translations of scholarly texts into Finnish or Swedish) 8) Obituaries
- If you are submitting a manuscript for peer review, make sure that the file has been anonymized: 1) The file name is a short form of the manuscript title 2) You have removed the file properties.
- If the article contains copyrighted material, you have acquired the permissions required for quoting or reproducing such material. Upload copies of the permissions together with your manuscript.
