Call for submission, issue 2/23

2023-04-24

Mirator is looking for submissions for the second issue of 2023, to be published in December. Articles submitted by the end of June 2023 are guaranteed review comments by September, and articles accepted with minor or no revisions can be accepted to the December issue.

Mirator is an Open Access journal published by Glossa – The Society for Medieval Studies in Finland, a member of the Federation of Finnish Learned Societies. Mirator publishes peer review articles on all topics, areas and fields of medieval studies, new editions of sources pertaining to the Finnish Middle Ages, and book reviews. We welcome articles in English, Swedish and Finnish.

Publishing in Mirator is free, there are no article processing charges; nor do we charge for submitting articles for review. Unfortunately, Mirator cannot pay any remunerations for the published contributions or cover language-checks.

Mirator is a scholarly Open Access journal. This means that all content is freely available immediately upon publication free of charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author.

Mirator accepts submission via its journal.fi platform, which also has the journal guidelines and style sheet.
