The Finnish Political Science Association (FPSA) publishes Politiikka, a scientific journal, with 4 online issues annually. The journal publishes peer-reviewed articles, articles discussing relevant issues to political science, and book reviews relevant to the field. The referee-process of peer-reviewed articles in Politiikka follow the double-blind principle (at least two referees with PhDs in the field) before publishing. Politiikka is committed to the guidelines for the responsible conduct of research as stipulated by the Finnish National Board on Research Integrity.
From 2019 onwards Politiikka is published as an open access online journal under Journal.fi. The digitization process of older volumes is underway.
Politiikka, founded in 1959, is a level 2 scientific journal, which publishes research articles in the field of political science in Finnish and in Swedish. Published articles go through an anonymous peer review process by at least two researchers with a PhD.
