Sitoutumisesta syntyvyyden kontrolloimisen yhteiskuntapolitiikkaan
Abstract
The growth of population is a severe social problem in developing countries. Political control of the birthrate is known to be more difficult than political control of some other social activities. According to recent demographic studies, severe antinatal policies seem to have some effect. The birthrate has generally declined in countries which have implemented strong antinatal policies. But there are also countries, such as China, where birthrate has declined only modestly, notwithstanding highly antinatal efforts. And in some countries, such as Guyana, the birthrate has rapidly declined without highly antinatal policies.Downloads
