About the Journal

Tekniikan Waiheita accepts articles widely in the field of history of technology, museum exhibition and research conference reports, and book reviews. While Finnish language content is predominant, articles in Swedish and English are also accepted. If you are interested in contributing to the journal, please contact the editor-in-chief or a member of the editorial board for specific instructions and guidance.

The journal follows double blind peer review procedures in lieu of the Federation of Finnish Learned Societies guidelines for articles. The review process is run by the editor-in-chief and said editor will decide, whether to publish an article based on referee statements. Reports, reviews and news items are not peer reviewed and are published subject to the editor-in-chief’s decision.

All articles published in Journal.fi-service are subject to their rightsholders permission. The journal editorial board has tried it’s utmost to gain permission from all authors to republish their work herein. Should you have a question or comment, or should you wish to withdraw an article from the online service, please contact Tekniikan Waiheita online system coordinator (Aaro Sahari, aaro.sahari(at)helsinki.fi).

Tekniikan waiheita follows Finnish Academic Publishers’ Union guidelines for copying and printing of our content. You may print and save articles for private purposes in line with copyright legislation. Articles may be printed, copied and saved for educational and research purposes following Kopiosto copy permission restrictions. Other usege must be negotiated separately with rightsholders.
