Abstrakti

Artikkeli käsittelee yritysyhteistyötä ihmistieteissä selvittäneen kyselyn tuloksia. Kyselyyn vastasi suomalaisissa yliopistoissa ja tutkimuslaitoksissa työskenteleviä ihmistieteen tutkijoita sekä eri toimialoilla toimivien yritysten edustajia (N = 137). Kyselyn avulla selvitettiin tutkijoiden ja yritysten kokemuksia yhteistyöstä ihmistieteiden ja yritysten välillä sekä näkemyksiä tavoista, joilla yhteistyötä voitaisiin edistää. Kyselyn perusteella ihmistieteilijät näkevät yritysyhteistyössä mahdollisuuksia edistää omaa tutkimustaan. Yhteistyötä edistäisivät joustavat matalan kynnyksen rahoitusmallit sekä rakenteet, jotka tukisivat yhteistyösuhteiden syntymistä. Yritykset kokevat, että ihmistieteillä on rooli liiketoiminnan kannalta keskeisiin tulevaisuuden haasteisiin vastaamisessa.
