Abstract

This article focuses on perspectives and central concepts related to critical feminist and discursivedeconstructive reading. An example of how to apply it to an analysis of documents of equality and educational politics is presented. Discursive-deconstructive readings' strength is presented by showing its capability to bring forward how discourses produce 'truths', normative ways of being and doing and a 'right' kind of knowledge and knowing. Instead of providing absolute meanings for discourse or deconstruction this article is interested in asking how these concepts can be utilized in research related to equality politics and education
