Call for papers: the 2024 English issue of Sosiologia
Sosiologia, the Finnish journal of sociology published by the Westermarck Society, calls for papers for its forthcoming issue in English. Sosiologia is the leading journal for sociological research and debate in Finland. It reaches an extensive readership both in print form and online at https://journal.fi/sosiologia. Articles published in Sosiologia are openly accessible online after an embargo period of four months. All submitted manuscripts go through a double-blind peer review process.
We warmly welcome article submissions of various kinds – empirical, methodological, and theoretical. It is preferable that the articles relate to the Finnish society, though manuscripts will not be selected primarily on this basis, but rather based on academic quality.
The call for papers is open for all. However, we encourage submissions in particular from non-native-Finnish faculty, researchers, and PhD students working in Finland – you who generally do not have access to Sosiologia due to its language selection. The fourth English issue is planned for publication in 2024.
