Thanatos

About the Journal

Thanatos is an open access multi-disciplinary peer-reviewed online journal published by the Finnish Death Studies Association (FDSA). Thanatos aspires to advance dialogue between scholars and professionals, and to broaden discussions about death and dying that cross traditional scientific boundaries.

Thanatos consists of research articles, long and short research reports, book reviews, columns, and seminar reports. The primary publication language is Finnish, but we accept manuscripts also in Swedish and English. Thanatos does not charge any publication fees, but all proofreading costs are the responsibility of the author(s). We welcome also suggestions for theme issues and guest editors.
