The articles of the journal and its predecessors Journal of the Scientific Agricultural Society of Finland, Journal of Agricultural Science in Finland, Agricultural Science in Finland, Agricultural and Food Science in Finland, The Journal of the Scientific Agricultural Society of Finland i.e. Maataloustieteellinen aikakauskirja have been scanned to pdf-format from 1945 to 1997 and are now available for readers of the journal free of charge. The digitalization of the predecessors of Agricultural and Food Science was funded by Kopiosto and The Finnish Science Publishers Association. If any of the authors of these scanned articles do not want their article to be included in the archive, please contact the editor of the journal (editor@afsci.fi).

The National Library has digitized the volumes of 1929–1939 of Maataloustieteen Aikakauskirja and agreed with Kopiosto to open them for 2021–2022.
