The article examines adult vocational training and on-the-job training from the point of view of the employee’s rights. The author assesses the strategic significance of in-house training organised by enterprises and the societal impacts of adult education. Industrial enterprises especially are believed to have to rely increasingly on the know-how of the labour force currently in their service.
