Abstract

The article is based on a questionnaire given to pagan individuals, members of communities and unions who took part in the midsummer festival in 2015. Firstly, the article discusses the features of the social portrait of an ordinary party celebration. It also examines the specifics of religious affiliation of the respondents. Secondly, it analyses the data from an open question devoted to certain “historical persons” – Russian figures who played an important role in the country's history.
