Assessment of quality in tertiary-level further education
Abstract
The article examines reasons for assessing this form of educational activity, what quality of education actually means, and what quality assessment focuses on. The author presents various viewpoints with respect to assessment of quality in education. Although some aspects of quality can be measured in terms of quantity, qualitative assessments are also necessary. The author reminds us of what Deming once said: we should discard the myth according to which ali important activities should be measurable.
