Abstract

The challenges of re-forming consulting work – Taking psychodynamic object relations theory as its starting point, the article takes a wide view of consulting work, seeing it as a creative activity supporting reform work, and in which the so-called "container-orientation" is central. The containerfunction is an important theoretical concept and tool för representing psychological growth and development. Since information about human growth and development underlies all types of reform, we can also use container-theory at the level of organizations and in our monitoring of consultation processes.
