Abstract

Each of the participants to the IV World Congress of the ICAE held in Thailand took part in solidarity visits arranged by the host country. During these visits the participants were able to familiarise themselves on the spot with the everyday aspects of adult education in Thailand surrounded by the shortcomings and problems of life in Thailand. The Finnish delegates took part in the two-day excursion to north-eastern Thailand that Marjorie Crombie’s report deals with.
