Abstract

Study counselling is usually understood as being an activity aimed at potential participants in the course of which the current educational provision is more or less taken for granted. The article is based mainly on two experimental projects implemented (or initiated) in the Federal Republic of Germany. ln the course of these projects, the guidance given to the various target groups has been made a part of a larger whole aimed at the development of the educational provision. The target groups in these experiments have comprised the educationally deprived and in a later stage the personnel of small and medium sized enterprises.
