The life situation of the academically trained jobless

does it represent a starting point for job-creation training?

Abstract

This study on the life situation of the academically trained jobless strove to take into account the complexity of human behaviour and individual differences instead of average descriptions. Dynamic concept analysis (DCA) was used in constructing an analysis method suitable for describing personal life situations and processes of change. The factors influencing life situations were described using ten concepts: economic state, physical state of health, threat experience caused by continuation of state of being unemployed, mental state of wellbeing, emotional means of survival, problem-centred means of survival (striving to break out of the state of being unemployed), external control connected to managing one's own affairs, and possibilities.
