The purpose of this study was to describe men’s sexual behavior with non-steady male sex part-ners. The data were collected via Internet 2010 as a part of the European EMIS project. Data collected in Finland (n=2072) were analyzed statistically. Over half of the respondents had had sex with a non-steady male partner during last year. The most common ways of having sex were oral sex, mutual masturbation and anal intercourse. Of those who responded (n=1311) over half did not disclose their HIV-status to their latest non-steady male partner. From respondents (n=997) 76,9 % used always or nearly always condoms in anal intercourses with non-steady sex partners. Two thirds of the respondents (n=478) had had an unprotected anal intercourse with a non-steady male partner whose HIV-status they did not know or think about. The possibility of non-steady male partners should be considered when aiming to promote men’s sexual health and guide men to conduct as safe sex as possible. It is of importance to pay attention on discussing partners’ HIV-status and the use of condom.
