Abstract

Is remote school possible? That is the question this narrative review aims to answer. The objective of the review is to make visible what school is all about - not to criticize the implementation od lockdown-era distance education or to idealize "traditional" schooling. The review is built around four themes: 1) school is about teaching and learning; 2) the school is about socialization; 3) school is about people and relationships, and 4) school is about space and place.
